<lj:music>FT Island - 사랑이 왔나봐</lj:music>

So its been 4 months since i last updated... here's why

work
i just have too much things to do all at the same time. talk about multitasking.. gooooooddddddd! i need a break!

events
once again im part of the christmas party committee. theme this year is "Better together". im going as a crayon with my friends. excited!

daddy
couple of months ago daddy suffered a stroke. good thing he's doing well now. but because of that, all of us in the family are on a diet. hello low fat, low sodium food

Mass downloading for Jakarta friends
boss from indonesia came for a visit. so as a treat to the girls in our jkt team, i DL-ed a lot of dramas and series for them. like jewel in the palace with 70 episodes.. ahhaha labor of love...

Minami Shineyo
Jeremy!!! i just wanted to hug you in episode 14... i love the soundtrack too.

NewS DVD
i liked the documentary part. the concert part made me reminisce my Nov 1 Fukui concert experience.. wish i can watch again. Doms next year!

Glee
im a self confessed Glee-k. the song reditions and perfomances are great! i ship Rachel-Puck! Rachel-Finn is boring! hahahah

Flooding in Manila
last September and October, Manila was hit with several tropical cyclones. i got stranded for 16 hours in the car and 70% of Manila was underwater. some friends' houses were also submerged and they lost all of their belongings. glad they're all doing ok now.

all about arashi
this year was almost all about arashi. i dont really dig them that much so i've been out of the jpop radar for sometime now. thank god for the recent NewS activities and Yamapi single and concerts. im back in the JE bandwagon!

Loveless
Ok. i like Pi and happy that he has a new single and concerts and all but this song just proved that he does not have a nice singing voice. i like the song though but i think Tegoshi could have sung it better. i liked Love Song and Gomen ne Juliet. MOLA was just ok. but Loveless is just not his genre. Dont worry, i still love you Pi.

FT Island
I just love Lee Hongki's singing voice. plus he's so cute in YB :) my fave FT song is BaRae(Hope)

that's all for now. i have to cook in Cafe World... oh that's another reason... Facebook is keeping me busy! hahahha

friday the 13th/valentines day

I had the weirdest Friday the 13th/Valentines Day dream. I don’t know what brought about this weird combination in my subconscious (probably, the jdramas + recent Japan trip + book digging at abie's house + I don’t know what else). Any how, after I got home from abie's house Friday night, I snuck in some reading and video watching before finally going to sleep around 2am. 10am the following morning a woke up with tears in my eyes - from my dream - and a big smile on my face - again from my dream - which is the weirdest combination. Anyhow here's what happened in my dream, I swear it’s the weirdest thing....

I saw myself on board the shinkansen (bullet train) with auntie pot from Manila to Hiroshima (I don’t know why... but that's just it.) I think it was a sleeper train cause there were compartments just like that of a shinkansen and a Tokyo subway train combined. Anyhoo, in front of us was this JE idol - itago nalang natin sa pangalang P - and he was with his manager or somebody else. The train suddenly stopped and we found ourselves alighting on the train platform. I tried to follow P, since I really liked him, but eventually he got away. So auntie pot and I went our way to look at the sights. We found ourselves in front of a temple - not the Japanese temple - but the Hindu temples that you can find in Thailand and Singapore. We went on admiring the elephants and the statue with lots of arms (don’t know who he/she is, probably Vishnu or something). Then we found our way walking the streets when we saw a pillow shop. I went in to see if they had this pillow can be folded in to a small thing and they have it so I bought it. Then I found myself walking again when I saw a fellow GSM employee I then proceeded to run after her to get some papers that are in her possession. In pursuit of her, I found myself in a pond with a small island in the middle with several bridges connecting the island to the lakeside. The bridges were like the bridge in episode 2 of kami no shizuka and the hanging bridge in Takeshi’s castle, the one that wobbles. In the pond I saw several dafuyas (yakuza-looking Japanese ojisans) undergoing some kind of a ritual. Included in the ritual were P and the person he is with. Since fellow GSM employee ran to the pond, I ran after her. During the ritual, P threw in some kind of an explosive underwater that caused some thing like a fountain effect which startled me. I fell in the water and panicked, since I can’t swim. Luckily, I resurfaced and was able to climb the bridge but all of my possessions were lost under water including my books. I then cried and cried because my favorite book was included in the ones that were lost. I don’t know what happened next but I then saw P diving underwater to retrieve my books. He resurfaced several times bringing a book or 2 with him. And me checking if those were my books. I ended up with several stacks of books and the pond/lake water significantly diminishing. In the end the water was completely gone, and I still haven’t found my book. I then cried and cried because I couldn’t find my book. And then I woke up.

It was the weirdest dream but it involved a naked P, lots of water, books and tears. Can anybody explain the meaning behind this weird dream? Cause I just cant. :)

was tagged in facebook. took some time to actually complete 25 things so i thought that i might as well post it here too... so here goes...

1. I'm a ketchup person. I love it so much that I put ketchup on almost everything I eat.

2. I have this weird allergy on preservatives and caffeine. Goodbye fast food, canned goods, hotdogs and starbucks' caramel macchiato.

3. Because of number 2, my favorite drink now is the Double Vanilla tea latte from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

4. I think I have selective OCD. I'm OC for some things but I totally don't care about others, say the neatness of my workstation or my room. I'm all for organized clutter.

5. I'm a frustrated musician. I listen to almost all types of music but I never learned how to play any musical instrument except for my Mplayer.

6. I'm a sucker for Asian entertainment. My current obsession is Japanese dramas and J-pop. In the past, I've been intrigued with Taiwan (because of Meteor Garden) and Korea (because of all these Korean dramas that I watched before)

7. The first ever concert that I watched was last November 1, 2008 at the Sun Dome in Fukui Japan. I liked it so much that I think that I’d just be watching Japanese-produced concerts from now on. The stage productions were awesome.

8. I hate the beach. Ironically, I live in an archipelago where all of the tourist/recreational destinations are beaches. Also, I can’t swim to save my life.

9. I want to believe I’ve matured (or just became boring, for the pessimistic ones). I now dislike the stuff that I used to like before, like getting passed out drunk and hanging out in crowded bars with loud, blaring music. I now prefer having cozy dinners/lunches and hanging out in coffee houses instead.

10. Consequently, my perfect weekend would include a bunch of DVDs, a DVD player, a TV and my bed.

11. I secretly dream of becoming a chef....

12. Or if I can’t be a chef, I want to be an iron chef judge. :)

13. I have very bad penmanship. It’s so bad that sometimes even I can't understand it.

14. I like tattoos and piercings. Just not on me, I prefer them on my guys. :)

15. I love downloaded stuff like videos and music etc, but imp the laziest downloader.

16. I really loved Japan. I'd like to live there in the future. I think that there are still too much for me to discover there.

17. My sisters tease me that I have seasonal friends. It’s not entirely true. It’s just that I have too many friends who belong to different circles and those circles don’t overlap that I find it difficult to keep in touch with them all the time.

18. I'm not a dog person. Sure they seem cute and cuddly at first but behind all that cuteness I am reminded of the fact that they have teeth and can bite and kill me.

19. I love traveling. Sometimes it may seem that I work to travel.

20. I have an affinity to foreign languages. In my life time, I want to learn at least one Asian Language (preferably Japanese) and one European Language (Either French or Spanish)

21. My current favorite dish is the Japanese Omurice. It has the 3 things that I like in a meal. Eggs, rice and ketchup!

22. I don’t wear a watch. I get this weird heavy feeling on my arm whenever I so. So conveniently use my cell phone clock to check the time.

23. Because of the heavy feeling I stated in 22, I also don’t wear bracelets, necklaces and even makeup. The only accessory that I wear is my earrings, my pretty elaborate earrings.

24. I'm a selectively friendly person. Sometimes I can be really friendly and chatty and sometimes I can be aloof and not care. It all depends on my mood and who you are. ;)

25. I found out that I am not as narcissistic as I thought as I found it too difficult to complete 25 random things about myself

Each time i listen to it, i need subtitles or a lyric sheet to fully make out the words.

i listen to NewS songs all day that i can name a NewS tune with one note.

i memorized most of the lyrics though most of the time i have no idea what they mean(i still dont know japanese.. still being the operative word.)

i'm starting to expand my horizons. i can now recognize 75% of the johnny's boys during the countdown con, some of them i even know their full name(a vast improvement, i used to refer to them as "HIM").

i bought a bunch of magazines in japan that i dont read. i just skimmed them once to look at the pictures. i cant read japanese. i cant even understand it much more read it.

i love yamapi and all but i think that tegoshi is the most talented of news. i mean he can act. undeniably he is the best singer. and he is intelligent, he goes to Waseda right?

i'm scared to get into more than one group. so may boys so little time.

i wasted several hours of my life because i listened to my sister's friend when she told me that i have to read this book cause it was a great read.

the gullible me, listened not taking into consideration that we have different tastes. so there, i started reading "chasing harry winston" another novel of the devil wears prada author. i mean, i didnt even like the devil wears prada. but still i read it..

i started on the first chapter and fell asleep after 2 pages. i continued the next day, skipping pages cause i felt that i didnt need to read it all of the descriptions the author has on every thing in the story setting that dont even affect the character or at the very least set the mood of the story. i went on and on doing the same thing. skipping all of the descriptions and sometimes even the wordy conversations that dont make sense and are not said by ordinary people. finally i reached the last 2-3 chapters. i was hoping for a climax. i mean, shouldnt every chick-lit novel have a climax? at the very least make up some huge fight amongst the girls or have this one girl break up with her fiance cause she cheated on him(oh that happened in this book, but the way that it was written didn't seem like it happen) or just create a huge commotion that would make the final chapter interesting. but no! i reached the final page and my reaction was: "WTF! that's it?" i swear this was worse than all of the dan brown novels that i've read. at least dan brown attempted to give us a nice climax. this book had no climax at all. i hate it.

i really really hate it. please give me back the time that i wasted. please please please. i should have just watched kimutaku or one of my japanese series.at least even if the story sucked the time was still spent looking at really cute people.
