its a sunday and i'm in the office for our regular monthly deployment. i came in pretty early cause i hate being late. my deployment was scheduled at noon and i came in at around half past 10. its now 1:20pm and im waiting for QA feedback on my deployment.

got a phone call from  [info]aironmelody asking me if i wanted to watch Lea Salonga in Rodgers and Hammerstein's production of Cinderella. i want to but im hesitant cause its kinda expensive and i have to save up for our sushi-land trip this october. will discuss this again tomorrow.

**********************************************
called up lei, she and samot to talk about RB's birthday celeb. initially i didnt want to go(its a sunday and i have work very early monday morning) but i realized that i've been soooo busy lately that it has been ages since i last saw them.  so i guess i have to go. i just have to go home earlier, after all lei and samot have work tonight.

im impatiently waiting for code blue subtitles. its the fan girl in me that is impatient. usually i tend to wait for the entire series to end and be subbed before starting to watch but this is an exception. other than the fact that it has a JE member it its cast, the JE member is my Yamapi. ugh! cant wait.

watched mamma mia with abie, deng, [info]aironmelody, sherwin and abie's friend rosa @ greenbelt 3 last friday.  but before that we treated our hard-working selves to some good food at recipes and some dessert crepes at cafe breton. deng treated herself to some coffee from starbucks. the movie house was packed. the audience consisted of females, gays, guys who we think are sooo in-love with their girlfriends/wives to stand this type of movie, and of course the older people hoping to sing along to the tunes of ABBA. the movie was fun. it was just weird to see pierce brosnan in that light.

**********************************************

satuday afternoon. met up with [info]aironmelodyand abie in Shangri-la to watch Eiga Sai, Japanese film festival. we had lunch at chosun(abie was craving either korean or japanese) and ordered large drinks with a bucket of popcorn. for our first movie,  we watched Linda, Linda, Linda. which was super funny. then had burgers at Wham! where deng and frank joined us. they were supposed to join us for the next movie but we were only able to get 1 extra ticket since the ticket queue is crazy. Ivy, abie's friend, joined us for the next movie, We shall overcome someday(Pacchigi) it was cute and funny but a bit violent. we then rummaged through the celine clearance sale where abie, ivy and doms emerged with new shoes and a dress.  didnt buy any for myself having just purchased 2 pairs of shoes last monday.

**********************************************

its uncle wen's birthday tomorrow. happy birthday!

he's having his birthday lunch today in pampanga which i missed since im here in the office.

its very unusual for us(lei, idz, she, samot and i) to go anywhere without a camera. but apparently, saturday was a day out of the ordinary. i would normally bring my camera where ever i go, but that weekend, my camera was with my sister who was in bohol for the weekend and i was practically sure that leia or eric would bring theirs. leia, the ultimate cam-whore, usually has her camera too but this time around, the camera was out of battery. and she didn't think of charging the battery cause she knows eric and i have cameras. eric, the cam-whore-in-denial, didn't bring his camera cause he was confident that leia and i would be bringing ours. so basically, we ended up with a camera-less night out but it was fun anyway.

i met up with eric at trinoma to pick up a gift for shewiwu then proceeded to their house to meet up with idz, lei and she. idz and she were at home but lei went to CCP to watch a play that her tito directed and her sister wrote. it was around 7 when we finally left for dinner. it was drizzling so we decided to go to dampa macapagal avenue rather than seafood fiesta in marikina as we originally planned.

we shopped for our seafood and had them cooked at tonya's, it was a seafood fest. there were chili buttered shrimps, baked mussels, mayamaya sinigang, adobo squid, calamari and sweet and sour fish. after the sumptuous dinner, idz and i(the certified food snobs) wanted dessert. we initially thought of going to starbucks-bluewave to try out the green tea cheesecake that i was raving about when i thought of bringing them to fort bonifacio to check out the dessert places in serendra. we got off at serendra and my book-lover friends saw the 4-storey fully booked store in bonifacio high street(just across serendra). so instead of going to serendra for dessert we went to fully booked-BHS and went book shopping. having successfully controlled our selves we only ended up buying 6 books(thank god our self control is improving). we then proceeded to serendra to get dessert. our choices were, cupcakes by sonja, miss desserts or xocolat. we decided on xocolat when we saw a glimpse of the menu, chocolate martinis and brownies a la mode. chocolate and alcohol, where can you go wrong? took a seat inside and placed our orders, we ordered like every cold drink the restaurant has to offer. we wanted to sample each one.:) while indulging ourselves on chocolate, we played kokology. its a self assessment game from a book that leia bought of the same title. before the cream from the chocolate drinks kick in, we decided to go home.

it was a fun, camera-less night out with my cam-whore friends.
