day 1
- we had a turbulence free flight
- auntie pot not trusting our navigational skills flags down random strangers for directions
- our first japanese meal, a near by izakaya with no english menu and non english speakers for waiters. thank god for picture menus.
day 2
-first shinkansen ride from osaka to tokyo.
-b&m tokyo office visit
-NewS concert tickets from satomi-chan
-meeting with b&m angels, sakura, juno and yuko
-visit to the nearby heia shrine
day 3
NewS concert!
-took the train to Sabae, a nearby province where the SunDome is located(the venue of the concerts)
-bought concert goods and watch throngs of fangirls queue up.
- wrote in the travel journal about our concert experience while on board the Raicho train
day 4
- girls lost in osaka
- we were supposed to meet bambi(aironmelody's friend) at a nearby church to hear mass
- got on the wrong train and got off the wrong station
- walked for 2 hours and finally found the church
- heard a japanese mass cause we missed the english service since we got lost
- searched for gretel's japan rail pass since she lost it due to temporary insanity and found it in the nearby kfc
- went on to shin-osaka station to meet up with dom's friend, had green tea mochi icecream
- went to shinsaibashi
- met fuku-chan, saw news kose poster
- had okonomiyaki
day 5
off to kyoto
- arrived hungry at the kyoto station to find out that restaurants open at 11 so we settled on coffee and bread
- bought our bus passes for the day and went to Kinkafuji
- golden pavillion entrance, temple, autumn leaves, ponds, souveniers and green tea soft serve
- boarded the bus to the kyoto imperial palace to find out that it is closed for official use for the day, it is culture day after all
- boarded the bus again to ginkafuji
- had too much fun shopping along the street
- saw bears while walking on the path of philisophy
- saw the kyoto tower in all its glory
- boarded the hep five ferris wheel with auntie pot(aironmelody has acrophobia)
its official!!!!! dominique and i will be watching the fukui concert! Satomi-san emailed this morning that she has the tickets...
next thing to do, pack and finalize everything then fly to sushi-land.
cant wait!
because i am a really good girl, the Lord finally heard my prayer!
the B&M angels from tokyo(midori, satomi and satomi's friend) were able to find us tickets for the fukui concert. i think this was the best news i got this week.

Khaps, our officemate, knows Satomi-chan and Midori-chan through the AP marketing team and she was kind enough to ask for help for us. Arigatou Khaps.
And, Satomi-chan's friend is a member of ticket.co.jp the japanese auction site where concert tickets can be bought. and she's helping us get tickets for the Fukui SunDome concert.
we can finally see our flying boys!!!! (if they'll fly. they didnt for the Pacific con so *fingers crossed*)

aironmelody , my aunt and i) will be visiting japan this october-november. we will be arriving at kansai airport and depart via narita. so we will be taking the shinkansen from osaka to tokyo. we will also be visiting fukui in the hope of catching the NewS winter tour there(if anybody with nov1 or nov2 tickets is reading this, let me know.. ill buy them willingly and will love you forever if you'll sell them to me :) ) so i was going all over the internet looking for directions(and hopefully idiot-proofed instructions) on how to get around when i stumbled across this picture. this is a picture of the train station in Fukui. i read too that most of the other train stations are similar to this. so i took my ass to the gym to prepare. here is how the fukui station looks like.( 100 steps to heaven )
