its a monday and i am sick.
i was supposed to call in sick today but my boss beat me to it. he texted me around 7am to tell me that he himself was calling in sick. since he wont be around and nobody is left to support our application i had to drag myself to work.
i attempted to take public transport to get to the office since i felt that it was still early and taking the long way wont hurt. as i got to the train station, there is just too many people waiting to get on the crowded train, so i opted to just take the cab from there. i decided that i need a break, i was sick after all.
so anyhow, the cab i rode took a different route(different from my usual route anyways) hoping that the road he chose would bring me to the office quicker. but that wasn't the case. it was quicker but if there was no traffic. and much to my dismay the road was full of cars and they were not moving.
finally, we were able to squeeze our way out of the traffic jam and got to the office just in time.
whew. i was hoping that i will get to the office earlier as today is the first day of our developer's conference and different developers from the US and Jakarta are here for the event. so i am actually looking forward to a very, very busy week. just hope that my colds vanish before the week ends or else im doomed.
